Caitlyn Hembree, assistant to master stylist
Caitlyn came to Powercuts after we posted an assistant’s job on Facebook. This is her first “real job” after completing a cosmetology course at the Aiken County Career and Technology Center and graduating from South Aiken High School. She assists our stylists, particularly our master stylist, shampoos and blow dries, mixes color and greets customers.
Caitlyn is a die-hard Carolina Gamecocks fan and enjoys visiting the Columbia campus. She also enjoys shopping and spending time with her cousins.

“I feel so lucky to be at Powercuts. We are a close-knit team – like a family — and everyone has made me feel welcome. I learn something new every day, and I’ve enjoyed participating in the educational classes offered through Paul Mitchell. Attending hair shows and in-house trainings with makeup artists and hair experts gives me lots of experience in techniques that aren’t covered in cosmetology school. My friends and family keep up with what I’m doing through the Powercuts’ e-blasts and Facebook posts (become a fan!). Special events like Martini and Massage Night have been fun ways to get to know our clients and their needs.”
