Sara, an ambitious 20-year-old, opened PowerCuts in 1997 as a full-service salon with two styling chairs and one employee — herself. Seven years later, she moved across the street to her new digs, where she launched the spa … inside the Little Yellow Cottage with the claw-foot tub.
